BLACKPINK member Jisoo and South Korean actor Ahn Bo Hyun have broken up. The singer and the actor went public with their relationship in August this year. The 28-year-old singer was dating the 35-year-old star for a brief period before they parted ways. The news of their break up was reported by JTBC Entertainment News. An industry representative told the publication that they broke up recently. The reason for Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun’s break up has also been revealed.
“Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun’s relationship naturally became distant due to their busy schedules, and they recently broke up,” the insider told the publication, as reported by Soompi. The news was eventually confirmed by Jisoo’s agencies. “It is true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun broke up,” BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment said. The couple is yet to issue an in-person statement.
Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun had confirmed their relationship in August this year. After Dispatch released photos claiming that the duo is dating, their agencies confirmed that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun were together. YG Entertainment and Ahn Bo Hyun’s agency FN Entertainment said at the time, “They are getting to know each other with positive feelings.” They added, “We would be thankful if you look upon them with warmth.”
Meanwhile, Ahn Bo Hyun recently made headlines for his reunion with Yumi’s Cells co-stars Kim Go Eun and Jinyoung. Kim Go Eun shared a picture from their reunion on Instagram on Monday and wrote, “Long time no see.”
On the other hand, Jisoo has been taking a break from the spotlight after BLACKPINK wrapped their world tour, Born Pink World Tour. The tour came to an end in September.
