The festival of lights, happiness and sweets is here. While everyone is all set to celebrate Diwali with their family and loved-ones, Sai Ketan Rao will be spending the day on the sets of his popular show Imlie. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, the actor revealed that he has a working Diwali this year and therefore, will be celebrating the festival with his co-stars and production crew.
“Recently, I started with Imlie season 3. My leading role Agasthya is getting immense love from fans and audiences. So, this year my Diwali celebration would be mostly on sets with my co-actors, director and the crew members. It would rather be a sweet experience as we will share our best Diwali time with work,” he told us.
The young actor shared that even though he will be working on Diwali, he is proud of it. “Fans are always there with me from the last theee years and I am proud to be around them. They have loved me since day one of my debut. I rather feel blessed. Also a important point, while playing around with crackers do take care. I love you all,” he said.
The 29-year-old actor further recalled his childhood days and revealed how he used to celebrate with his family and friends back then. “During my school days I used to burst a lot of crackers the whole day and night, along with my friends those were some moments which I would not forget. Also my mother and dadi used to make Diwali special sweets which I used to eat a lot,” he shared.
Sai Ketan Rao plays the role of Agastya Upadhyay in Imlie. The show also stars Adrija Roy as the new Kairi, the Imlie. Prior to Imlie, Sai was seen in the Star Plus’ Chashni, which went off-air earlier this year.
