Mumbai Police is known for its quirky social media posts. From poking fun at trending topics to issuing advisories on road safety, Mumbai Police always does it in style. With their on-point meme game, the police department’s posts never fail to convey social messages to the viewers. In the latest, Mumbai Police shared a video of a man performing a stunt on a scooter.
The man, in the video, had put up a reel with the song Hawa Ke Saath Saath, Ghata Ke Sang Sang from the 1972 film Seeta Aur Geeta, playing in the background. The Mumbai police said that such irresponsible driving can take someone ‘much higher’ than air in a parallel universe.
Taking to Instagram, Mumbai Police jointly shared the video with CP Mumbai. “Love being in the air? Beware! With this irresponsibility, god forbid, one could find a place much higher! #AParallelUniverse,” the caption read.

Social media users were quick to take a stand on the matter. One user jokingly said, “Trust me he is taking Power Nap which can take him to haven instantly.” Another noted, “Mumbai police as usual being way too sarcastic.”
A person even said, “Tesla launched new scooty.” One of the accounts poked fun stating, “When your life is at autopilot and you are just going with the flow.”
Some even pointed out that the video was from Kolkata and not Mumbai. A user wrote, “They are using a video from Kolkata because they know empty roads are not possible in Mumbai.”
While one question, “But why is Mumbai police sourcing content from Kolkata?” Another asserted, “You can’t drive so smoothly in Mumbai, because every other road in Mumbai is dug up.”
Mumbai Police has been very frequent with unique and fun content on social media. Recently, Mumbai Police also engaged in a fun banter with its Delhi counterpart on X (formerly Twitter), celebrating India’s World Cup semi-final win against New Zealand.
