Xiaomi Enters Electric Vehicle Arena With Sleek And Powerful SU7

Xiaomi’s EV, once referred to as MS11, has been named SU7.

The car is available in three variants —SU7, SU7 Pro and SU7 Max.

The SU7 model reaches a maximum speed of 210kmph, while Pro and Max versions can reach upto 265kmph.

The electric sedan is built keeping customer experience in mind.

The soon-to-be launched EV will provide consumers with options of 19 inch or 20 inch wheels.

The Xiaomi SU7 is rumoured to feature face recognition unlocking.

Its power comes from batteries provided by CATL or BYD, depending on motor configuration.

The SU7 series will provide two powertrain options, a Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and an All Wheel Drive (AWD).

The base models carry a curb weight of 1,980 kg while the top-end variant weighs 2,205 kg.

Xiaomi plans to begin deliveries of the SU7 series in China from February 2024.
