The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced the dates for the NBSE HSSLC (Class 12) practical exams to be held in 2024. In addition to this, the board has also provided a comprehensive set of guidelines for both Class 12 and Class 11 practical exams, emphasising the importance of adherence to these instructions by affiliated schools.
The NBSE has instructed affiliated schools to conduct Class 12 practical exams from December 4 to 15. While a detailed timetable for these practical exams is expected to be released shortly, interested candidates and schools are encouraged to check the dates by visiting the official website of the board at nbsenl.edu.in.
Guidelines For Class 12 Practical Exam
In accordance with the NBSE guidelines, participating institutions are mandated to supply all necessary materials and equipment essential for the smooth conduct of practical examination works.
Moreover, the school administration will also have to collect the practical exam fees at the rate approved by the board and utilise it for the remuneration of external examiners.
The guidelines further state that the practical exams must be overseen by both internal and external examiners, with the latter being a teacher or lecturer whose name has been duly submitted to the board. Affiliated schools have been directed by the NBSE to administer Class 11 practical exams during the first week of February 2024.
These exams are to be conducted on-site at the respective institutions and supervised by the subject teachers. Importantly, these teachers are required to construct the question paper based on the syllabus and rigorously evaluate the practical in accordance with the provided marking scheme.
Recognised higher secondary schools and colleges are automatically designated as centres for practical examinations unless notified otherwise by the board. Private candidates, on the other hand, will receive specific information regarding their examination centres directly from the board.
