Actress Priyanka Chopra has reportedly said two Mumbai apartments to filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey. These properties, totaling 2,292 square feet, were reportedly sold for a combined amount of Rs 6 crore, according to details obtained from Zapkey.com, as quoted by Indianexpress.in. Following her marriage to singer Nick Jonas in 2018, Priyanka has been residing in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
Abhishek is known for director movies like Udta Punjab, Sonchiriya and others. As reported by Money Control, the apartments are located on the 9th floor of Karan Apartment Tower in Lokhandwala, Andheri. The transactions were reportedly conducted by Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, on behalf of the actress. The filmmaker is said to have covered stamp duty charges totaling Rs 36 lakh for the registration of these apartment transactions, occurring on October 23 and October 25.
Priyanka has been grabbing attention for her properties in Mumbai. In June 2021, she entered into a lease agreement for a 2,040 sq ft office space on the second floor in the Oshiwara area of Andheri West, with a monthly rent of Rs 2.11 lakh.
On the work front, as per a source close to Hindustan Times, the makers to play the female lead opposite Ranveer Singh have approached PC since the actress was recently in town to figure out her next Bollywood commitment. The source told the portal, “The team of Don 3 has indeed approached Priyanka Chopra to revisit her character. In fact, the first few meetings also took place when Priyanka came to India recently for another professional commitment. She used her time in India to align the talks and figure out her next project in the Hindi film industry.”
Priyanka will next be seen in Heads of State also starring John Cena and Idris Elba. Heads of State is an Amazon original film which was announced last year.
