Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar, who tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed their first child, a daughter, this September, finally disclosed her name. The couple held an intimate naming ceremony attended by close friends and family, where they disclosed their little munchkin’s name— Navya Vaidya. In the latest pictures, Disha looked radiant in a vibrant red and golden silk saree paired with elegant gold jewelry, while Rahul exuded charm in a dark blue kurta pyjama paired with an embroidered Nehru jacket. They kept their daughter’s face hidden with a cute emoticon.
“Welcome to baby Vaidya’s naming ceremony,” they wrote. The sweet images feature the couple holding their baby girl and showering her with kisses. Another moment captures Rahul planting a kiss on Disha’s cheek, followed by a kiss on Navya’s tiny feet. Additionally, a solo picture shows Disha holding her newborn. Alongside the post, Rahul Vaidya wrote, “Navya’s Naming Ceremony.”

In a video shared on her Instagram Stories, Disha Parmar expressed her feelings on the occasion of her daughter’s naming ceremony. She mentioned that describing the experience is challenging and emphasised that no matter how much time one spends gazing at their baby, it always feels insufficient because of the deep love and connection they share with their child.
Speaking about naming their daughter, Disha in a conversation with ETimes said, “We were looking for a girl’s name right from the beginning. Although I kept wondering what if we have a boy, we don’t even have a name. When we saw our baby girl, we were so happy and certain about the name Navya. We are glad to share it with everyone now. Rahul and I felt this name is an apt name as soon as we saw her. We said, ‘This is it, she’s our Navya.’ Her name means praiseworthy.”
While Rahul Vaidya added, “Everything just gets more special when she’s with us. She was looking very cute when Disha dressed her up in a peach frock. She wore her first jewellery gifted by her grandparents. Our little one even dozed off in the middle of the aarti.”
Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya tied the knot on July 16, 2021, after the singer proposed to Disha during her visit to the Bigg Boss house.
