Rubina Dilaik’s latest post has left a section of social media users disappointed and furious. It all started after the actress took to the microblogging site X and urged everyone to ‘stop bursting crackers’. Some of the users questioned her post and went on to call the actress ‘anti-Hindu’. Rubina’s husband Abhinav Shukla has also reacted to the controversy now.

Recently, Rubina Dilaik urged everyone to ‘stop bursting crackers’ and argued that apart from the existing air pollution, noise pollution is “killing our sleep” too. “To whomsoever it may Concern! Diwali is OVER, Stop bursting crackers ‍♀️….. since 10th November, non stop crackers are being burnt till 3am in the morning ……. ENOUGH NOW…. Air pollution toh hai hi …. Noise pollution is killing our sleeps …,” she wrote.

How Did Netizens React To Rubina’s Post?

Rubina’s ‘stop bursting crackers’ urge left a section of social media users disappointed. While some called her ‘anti-Hindu’, others argued that she should feel ‘ashamed’ for her words. “Stop your Anti Hindu Propaganda, Delete this tweet Right now you bollywoodiya,” one of the users wrote. Another comment read, “Rubina I respect your current state, you are pregnant but this tweet of yours is hurting the religious sentiment of people as well.. Please delete it for your own peace of mind as well as others (sic).”

How Did Rubina React To Being Called ‘Anti-Hindu’?

After some social media users called her ‘anti-Hindu’, the actress wrote in another post, “Anti-Hindu??? Are you guys SERIOUSLY OUT OF YOUR MIND (sic)”. “Don’t come and comment on my Instagram….. its NOT GYAN , Mr. Intelligently Dumb Vipul Shrisath! Aapse se zyaada hum tyohaar manaatein hain, par doosron ko takleef dekar nahi,” she added in another post.

Later, Rubina also re-shared her original post and hit back at trolls by calling them ‘pseudo-Hindu’. “”Diwali, is a festival of lights, celebration of Shree Ram returning to Ayodhya! Well, Ramayan mein bursting crackers for 10days was never mentioned, so all you Pseudo Hindu propaganda agents , Go and find someone ELSE to highlight your paid accounts and fake ids! Dare NoT✋,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Abhinav Shukla has also reacted to the controversy. On Thursday, he took to X and invited ‘Hindu activists’ for a challenge. “I want the THA(Twitter Hindutva Activists) to prove their worth! Lets get on ground & start cleaning our Hindu Places of worship! I do it for my religion but never mention! You mention religion all the time lets see what all u can do! Submit reports by end of week! Lago Kaam par,” he wrote.
