Despite doing very few films, Sai Pallavi has created a unique brand image for herself. Working in the Telugu industry, which is known to churn out mammoth pan-India films, she has not had one to her credit as of yet. Sai Pallavi has not yet been cast opposite an A-lister but that may change very soon. Word in the industry is that she is the first choice for the leading lady opposite Ram Charan in RC16.
Director Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame will shortly begin working with Ram Charan on a sports drama. The script for the movie was just finished. As the cast and crew of this untitled movie finalise their cast and equipment, pre-production work is presently underway. Rumour has it that Sai Pallavi is being considered by the filmmakers to play the role of the heroine. Vijay Sethupathi’s name has also been associated with the film. There is no clarity though and no official confirmation has been made. If the rumours are true though, then this could be a big breakthrough for Sai Pallavi.
The background score and music will be composed by AR Rahman. This high-end movie is all set to mark Venkata Satish Kilaru’s producing debut. The movie’s production is anticipated to begin early next year. In the meantime, Chandoo Mondeti has signed Sai Pallavi to star opposite Naga Chaitanya for a film.
The production of RC16 will not start before the beginning of next year because Ram Charan is currently busy with the last phase of shooting for Game Changer directed by Shankar. The movie took some time to film as Shankar was directing both Game Changer and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 simultaneously. As Game Changer approaches its release date, it is evident that the RRR actor will be busy promoting the film and attending various events. RC16 is not expected to start filming before Game Changer releases.
