Suzuki Motor Corporation made a big appearance at the EICMA 2023 by revealing two much-awaited models: the GSX-S1000GX and GSX-8R.

The Milan Motorcycle Show, which is being held from November 7 to November 12, 2023, has drawn motorcycle aficionados from all around the world.

According to a press release, the GSX-S1000GX will be available in December 2023, while the GSX-8R will be offered in January 2024, with a concentration on Europe and North America. In addition, the price of the new Suzuki models will be announced at the time of their launch, as per reports.

All-New GSX-S1000GX: Check Details

The GSX-S1000GX is a crossover model that blends the finest of sport-tourer and adventure characteristics. It inherits the strong engine from the GSX-S1000 series, assuring top-notch performance for sport riding. Suzuki has also added new technology and equipment to improve its touring capabilities. The bike’s design boasts an aggressive appearance that symbolises the athleticism of a sport bike while still prioritising a comfortable upright riding posture for touring.

The Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES), a first for Suzuki motorcycles, is one of the GSX-S1000GX’s most notable features. This technology electronically modulates suspension damping and preload based on parameters such as vehicle speed, road surface conditions, and changes in posture induced by braking.

Suzuki also created the Suzuki Road Adaptive Stabilisation (SRAS) programme, which detects uneven road surfaces and changes the suspension settings appropriately. This combination of SAES and SRAS provides a comfortable ride with less vibration on unpaved roads as well as dynamic sport performance on paved routes.

The GSX-S1000GX is outfitted with a variety of electronic control features, including the SDMS system for integrated management of power characteristics, traction control levels, and SAES damping settings. It also has the Motion Track Brake System, which can activate ABS even while leaning into curves. These innovative features combine to make the GSX-S1000GX a flexible and high-performance motorbike fit for riders of all skill levels.

All-New GSX-8R: Everything You Need to Know

The GSX-8R is a sport model aimed at riders of all ages and abilities. The GSX-8R is based on the widely acclaimed GSX-8S and includes a fairing and different handlebars for sport riding. The exposed engine and seat rail radiate practical beauty, showcasing Suzuki’s sport bike pedigree. The GSX-8R is a flexible model appropriate for everyday usage, sport riding, and touring, with a 776 cm3 parallel 2-cylinder engine and a frame intended to fit, as well as a suspension with huge pistons.

GSX-S1000GX and GSX-8R: Similar Features

Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) features are available for both the GSX-S1000GX and GSX-8R. The GSX-S1000GX is equipped with the SDMS-α system, which allows for integrated control over suspension damping, traction control, and power output characteristics.

In contrast, the GSX-8R has the Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), which limits power output when wheel spin is detected, and the SDMS system, which allows the user to select between three alternative power output characteristics.
