The residential building's security guard quickly acted on his reflexes and jumped aside, narrowly escaping a horrifying accident

Three people were injured in two different hit-and-run incidents in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida during Diwali celebrations on Sunday.

Video of the incident went viral on social media. The first incident took place outside a residential society in Noida Sector 119 at around 11 pm when people were enjoying the Diwali festivities and were rammed into by a speeding car.

The crash led to one person on the landing on the car’s roof, while the car crashed into the other person.

The second incident took place in Greater Noida West when a speeding car almost hit a security guard of a residential society. The video of the incident shows the guard narrowly escaping from the speeding SUV.

The driver of the SUV was reportedly in an inebriated condition. The video shows the SUV moving in a zigzag pattern- on the road before it almost rams into the security guard.

Fortunately, the guard acted on his reflex and jumped, escaping the terrifying accident. However, even after all this, the driver of the SUV does not stop and flees the scene as other people surround the security guard and attend to him.

In another incident in Rajasthan’s Bundi, four members of a family died in the early hours of Sunday when their car collided with a truck on National Highway 52.

The incident took place in the Hindoli police station area when the victims — originally from Madhya Pradesh — were headed for Pushkar. The SUV carrying the four people rammed into a heavy-duty truck from behind, said Hindoli police station’s Circle Inspector, Manoj Sikarwal.

He said that the SUV was probably speeding and it seems that the truck ahead applied its brakes all of a sudden, causing the vehicle to ram into it.

The truck driver fled the spot leaving his vehicle behind, Sikarwal said, adding that efforts were underway to nab the accused.
