The e-SUV is likely to hit the road at the starting price of Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company is yet to confirm the details about the same.

The largest carmaker Mahindra is gearing up to introduce XUV.e8 in India. Ahead of the official launch, the vehicle has been spotted multiple times during testing. This time, the EV is spied in Chennai, revealing overall design elements and some important details.

According to the report, Mahindra is expected to launch XUV.e8 in India at the end of next year. The e-SUV is likely to hit the road at the starting price of Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company is yet to confirm the details about the same.

Mahindra XUV.e8 Design

Talking about the design, the vehicle somehow shares a similar road appearance as the XUV700. However, the car undoubtedly carries an individual charm, which makes it look unique in the segment. As per the leaked spy images, the car flaunts an aggressive front fascia, and a proper LED headlight setup, paired with stylish LED DRLs. The photos also show the rear profile, which looks quite identical to the XUV700.

Mahindra XUV.e8 Interior

When it comes to the interior, XUV.e8 features a large Tata Safari-inspired multi-function steering, a large infotainment display, and centre console that is equipped with a conventional round automatic gear knob. The console was also seen having a round shaped dial, which will be used to select the suitable drive mode.

Mahindra XUV.e8 Battery

It has been reported that the upcoming XUV.e8 will be based on the company’s INGLO platform. The vehicle is expected to be powered by an 80 kWh battery pack, which will generate a max power of 230-345 BHP.
