Telugu film Spark: LIFE hit the theatres yesterday on November 17. Reviews and verdicts are pouring in for the film. Spark: LIFE is getting mixed reviews. Let us take a look at whether the film has the potential to impress the critics and audience or not. Spark: LIFE is the directorial debut of Vikranth Reddy. He is also one of the leads in the film, making his debut in acting with this film as well. The cast of the film also includes Mehreen Pirzada, Rukshar Dhillon, Nasser, Suhasini, Vennela Kishore, Satya, Brahmaji and Srikanth Iyyengar. It is produced by Ravi Kumar Byrishetty and Leela Reddy under Deaf Frog Production. The music composer in the film is Hesham Abdul Wahab. The viewers will get to enjoy the lavish sets and production of the film, which are especially apparent in the songs featured in Spark: LIFE.

The plot of the film goes something like this — Lekha (Mehreen Pirzada) has been patiently waiting for the perfect guy of her dreams, rejecting every guy her father selects for her. Then she meets Arya (Vikranth Reddy), with whom she falls in love instantly. All this happens when a series of suicides are taking place in the city. Lekha’s parents end up suspecting that Arya has something to do with the deaths. So, the questions arise within a viewer, who exactly is Arya and what does he have to do with the suicides? Who is really behind the suicide?

As a debutant actor, Vikranth did an alright job, although it could have been better as it looked like he needed to give out more emotions. It must be mentioned that Vikranth is seen in a double role in the film, a tough job to take as a debutant. The actresses, Mehreen Pirzada and Rukshar Dhillon did a good job in their respective roles as the love interest and the medico respectively. Guru Somasundaram perfectly depicted his role as the film’s villain. Overall, the film fails to impress, but can be a one-time watch.
