WWE is set to host its tenth premium live event in Saudi Arabia, with the Crown Jewel slated to take place in Riyadh on November 4. The company has already revealed the match card of the upcoming event where several starts of the wrestling circuit will be seen in action. Ahead of the main event, the kick-off show will feature a battle between Sami Zayn and JD McDonagh, while the main roster includes a number of high-voltage championship matches. Seth Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship title during a clash against Drew McIntyre. Fans started anticipating this clash since Rollins secured a gruelling victory over Shinsuke Nakamura at Fastlane.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will also feature in the Crown Jewels and defend his title against LA Knight, who has been enjoying great success this year. Knight had a verbal altercation with Reigns earlier on WWE SmackDown, paving the way for the face-off at Crown Jewel. Earlier at Fastlane, Knight joined hands with John Cena and got the better of Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.
The Crown Jewel will also see Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley defending her title in a fatal five-way match, featuring Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Raquel Rodriguez and Zoey Stark as the other participants. Apart from taking home the title, the winner of this bout will be branded as “the baddest woman in WWE.”
The Crown Jewel will enable John Cena to show off his dominance in a single fight against Solo Sikoa. The 16-time World Champion last won a single battle almost 2,000 days ago. In some other in-ring actions, Rey Mysterio will challenge Logan Paul in the United States Championship, Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair will go head-to-head in the WWE Women’s Championship and Cody Rhodes will take on Damian Priest.
